DCA Civil Engineering Group provided civil engineering, mapping, land planning and surveying services for the design and construction of a commercial office and medical-dental office building project comprised of a 32,980 square-foot, two story concrete tilt up building on 4.25 acres of land.

The building was leased to the United States Government and housed a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) where armed forces recruits will be tested, receive medical examinations, and have background checks conducted before they are sent to basic training. 

The scope of the work included:
Boundary & topographic survey, ALTA & As-Builts, utilities research and plotting relocation, grading, storm design, sewer design, off-site street improvements, lot line adjustments, water line relocations, easement quit claims, SWPPP & SUSMP preparation, hydrology/ hydraulics report, utility company notification letters, and utility coordination, earthwork calculations, construction staking, RFI’s and LEED consulting.
